Identity theft has and continues to be a growing concern and a tangible threat to businesses and professional organizations. In order to mitigate the risk many organizations utilize a shredding service such as Valley Shredding or they use an office shredding machine. While both can be effective in destroying documents and critical information, office shredding machines are not necessarily cost effective. First you have the cost of the shredding machine. Secondly, you have to pay an employee to feed the machine. Thirdly, most office shredding machines are slow and frequently become jammed, due to overfeeding. Lastly, due to today’s economic environment, is paying someone to feed a machine rather than completing their daily workload really a good use of your money?
Mobile Shredding
Valley Shredding provides mobile shredding services, including containers and cabinets, throughout the Central Valley in California. Valley Shredding’s fleet of modern and efficient trucks means that we provide reliable, timely and quick turnaround on destruction. On-site shredding capability helps provide our customers the confidence they need to insure that their documents are destroyed at the time we arrive. A signed Certificate of Destruction is provided at the time of service.
Off-site Shredding
Valley Shredding provides off site shredding services, including locking containers and cabinets, throughout the central valley and greater California. The only difference is that once collected, the material is delivered to Valley Shredding’s headquarters located at 4800 E. Lincoln where it is destroyed. Our off-site customers receive their Certificate of Destruction at the end of the month, with their invoice.

Valley Shredding offers a variety of services for One-time, Periodic file and our bi-annual and or annual purges. There is no purge to big or too small, that we cannot handle. Please call our office for a quote or for more information.
SHRED EVENTS

Numerous times a year, and usually on a Saturday, you will find a Valley Shedding Truck parked at a local City Hall, City Public Work’s Yard or in a Parking lot in front of a business, shredding documents on behalf of residents and or patrons. These events are generally free to the residents and or patrons and are sponsored by the City you live or the organization you work for or support. DROP-OFF SERVICE/RESIDENTIAL

Your personal and home office documents contain sensitive information, about yourself, your family and your business. Discarding your documents in a dumpster or curbside recycling bin increases your exposure to identity theft and business fraud. Criminals know that trash and recycling bins can be filled with discarded credit card statements, tax records, bank statements and medical bill information. Valley Shredding recommends that you place your sensitive information in a bankers/file box. HARD DRIVE DESTRUCTION

Valley Shredding is one of the only destruction companies located in the central valley that actually performs the destruction of hard drives and other media assets in the central valley. In addition to providing Hard Drive destruction, Valley Shredding provides collection and destruction for the following items:

The destruction of these items takes place at 4800 E. Lincoln Avenue, located near the City of Fowler. Upon delivery your devices are run through an industrial shredder, whose thru-put is equal to a half a ton per hour. The process is monitored by a trained technician in a secure and video monitored portion of the facility. At the end of the process, your devices will look like bits and pieces of confetti size of waste.
